I've tried a couple of other wire strippers - but they were finicky. These are sharp and do a nice job on various gauges. The backstop is great for stripping consistent lengths. However, since I strip different types of wires, I generally eyeball it. Bottom line, if you're looking for a stripper, this one does a great job.
